  • Watershed to perform live at The Loft in Hout Bay
  • Concert scheduled for Saturday, 2nd of May
  • Intimate venue promises close audience connection
  • Band continues to draw strong local support after two decades

Cape Town’s live music scene is set for a highlight event as Watershed prepares to perform at The Loft in Hout Bay, bringing one of South Africa’s most recognised bands into an intimate venue setting.

The concert, scheduled for Saturday, the 2nd of May, is expected to draw strong interest from local audiences, with doors opening at six in the evening at the Harbour Road venue.

Watershed has built a reputation over more than two decades as one of South Africa’s most consistent live performers, with a catalogue of well-known songs including Indigo Girl continuing to resonate with audiences.

The Loft, located in Hout Bay, has positioned itself as a venue that focuses on delivering close-up live music experiences. Its smaller capacity allows for a more direct connection between performers and the audience, offering a different dynamic compared to larger concert spaces.

Organisers have described the upcoming performance as a showcase of live music in its purest form, with an emphasis on strong vocals, musical precision and audience engagement.

The event also reflects a broader focus on supporting local music talent, with Watershed remaining a prominent name in the South African music industry.

Tickets for the concert are available from approximately R295, with demand expected to be high given the band’s long-standing popularity and the limited size of the venue.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as the event is expected to reach capacity, highlighting continued demand for live entertainment experiences across Cape Town.
